Zippos Circus returns to Elgin with their exciting nationwide tour, “Nomads,” featuring an international cast of incredible circus performers guaranteed to entertain and delight your entire family.

This spectacular show pays tribute to the nomadic way of life embraced by circuses for centuries. Generation after generation, talented artists have journeyed from one town to another, captivating and thrilling audiences with their awe-inspiring performances.

Taking center stage in this extravaganza are the Temujin Troupe, special guests hailing from the Mongolian Steppes. These exceptional artists perform hand voltige, skipping, and aerial acts. Mongolia, where nearly half of the population still leads a nomadic lifestyle, serves as one of the last bastions of this remarkable culture.

Audience favorites make a triumphant return to the Nomads show, including the legendary Brazilian motorbike Globe of Death. Other mesmerizing acts feature fast-paced juggling, knife throwing, and whip cracking from the Czech Republic, alongside daring aerial feats by the UK’s very own Jackie. The Kenyan Timbuktu Tumblers never fail to impress with their high-energy acrobatics, and a heart-stopping Wheel of Death act comes all the way from Columbia.

The international lineup doesn’t end there! Moroccan-born Ibrahim delivers a stunning performance on a vertical pole, while Ludvick from the Czech Republic wows with his fantastic Rola Rola act. Additionally, prepare for nail-biting swinging trapeze from Spain and captivating Ukrainian dancers Diana and Sophia.

UK comedy star Whimmie Walker is on hand to keep the laughter flowing, and the extraordinary Brazilian artist Paulo Dos Santos is sure to amaze with his acrobatics, aerial acts, and comedy. Though he stands just over one meter tall, his incredible display of skill and bravery never fails to astonish.
